Project Survive: The (Un)lucky Ones

What does it mean to be a survivor?
Project Survive tells the authentic and complex story of cancer through the collected words, images and artifacts of cancer survivors. Through large-scale photography, in-depth interviews and personal artifacts such as patient charts, journals, poetry and art, it dispels the notion that there is one universal cancer experience.
The project seeks to increase the visibility of both the cancer experience and life afterwards, and is open to survivors of every age, background, diagnosis and course of treatment.
